Course description

Learn to stay fit and healthy with our Nordic Walking course, part of our fitness short course program in Sydney!

This Nordic walking short course will introduce you to a different style of walking that exercises the entire body. Nordic Walking can be enjoyed by both non-athletes as a health-promoting physical activity and by athletes as a sport.

Nordic walkers use specially designed walking poles similar to ski poles. Using the body's natural arm swing, Nordic Walking involves planting poles into the ground behind you and pushing yourself forward, which engages the upper body and also causes the torso to rotate gently around the spine. Nordic Walking is a great way to burn more calories in less time. You can also exercise for longer without feeling exhausted as you are using more of your body's muscle groups to propel you forward.

Train with a Nordic Walking Australia accredited instructor in this Nordic walking short course and take on this fun, practical and inclusive activity.
