Whether you’re completely new to massage or looking to build on basic skills, this course offers a practical and supportive introduction. You’ll learn how to use touch with confidence—developing an understanding of pressure, rhythm, and flow to create a calming and effective massage experience.
Led by an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist, classes are hands-on and taught in a small group environment, allowing for personalised guidance and plenty of practice. You’ll explore how to prepare for a massage, work safely and comfortably, and adapt your approach to suit different needs.
By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident giving a full-body relaxation massage—whether for partners, friends, family, or simply as a valuable life skill to support wellbeing.

- Preparing a comfortable and relaxing environment
- Exploring a range of massage techniques and styles
- Performing stretches and movements on the massage table
- Step-by-step guidance through a full-body massage (legs, back, neck, head, chest, and arms)
- Giving and receiving massage in a guided, supportive setting

Course materials
What to bring to class
Please bring the following to class:
- A sarong or single, flat sheet
- 2 large towels and 1 small towel
- A water bottle
- A notepad and pen (or tablet device)
- Comfortable, warm clothing
