Whether you're completely new to massage or looking to build on basic skills, this course offers a practical and supportive introduction. You'll learn how to use touch with confidence, developing an understanding of pressure, rhythm and flow while exploring the techniques involved in creating a comfortable and effective massage experience.
Led by an experienced Remedial Massage Therapist, classes are hands-on and taught in a small group environment, allowing for personalised guidance and plenty of practice. You'll learn how to prepare for a massage, work safely and comfortably, understand important contraindications, and adapt your approach to different needs.
By the end of the course, you'll feel more confident giving a full-body relaxation massage to partners, friends or family, with practical techniques you can continue to develop and use at home.

This is a practical, hands-on course in which participants will both give and receive massage. Please let your tutor know at the beginning of class if you have any specific requirements around giving or receiving massage.
Oils are used during the course, specifically rice bran oil.

Public transport is available from Victoria Road and Darling Street. We cannot guarantee that there will be parking available onsite due to the limited number of spaces. On weekdays, there are 11 onsite car spaces available for free parking. On weeknights and weekends, 15 onsite car spaces are available for free parking. There is also free council parking on the corner of Evans Street and Victoria Road. The surrounding street parking is limited as it is a residential area. Please be mindful of residents if parking on the surrounding streets.
