In this Drawing Course, you will learn how to observe objects for drawing and be taught how to simplify different forms and structures with proportion and composition. We will look at how we can create an illusion of space by applying negative space and perspective and explore how to draw realistically. With many exercises, demonstrations and discussions, you will have a sound understanding of the core concepts of drawing including line, tone, perspective, and proportion.
Once you have completed this Drawing Course for Beginners, you may like to keep practicing your drawing skills in one of our Drawing studios or expand on your drawing techniques by joining our Drawing Course for Continuers.

What to bring to class
Option 1: Purchase a full materials kit at enrolment checkout. This will be supplied in your first class.
Option 2: Uncheck the materials kit at enrolment checkout and bring your own - consult our Drawing for Beginners Material List.
*Materials kits are ordered from our supplier and can take up to a week to arrive. If you enrol close to the start date, you may receive your kit at the second session instead of the first.

- Closed-in shoes required
- Please wear old clothes and/or bring an apron
- Long hair should be tied back
