Acrylic Painting Workshop: Landscape Sydney Community College

Acrylic Painting Workshop: Landscape

APWL_1

Learn to paint with acrylics with our painting workshops in Sydney!

Come and join us for an enjoyable and hands-on introduction to the vibrant realm of acrylic painting. If you've always had a desire to learn the art of painting, this workshop is a great place to begin, especially if you’re ready to jump straight into painting a landscape.

In this engaging one-day session, you’ll dive straight into creating your own landscape, learning as you paint rather than through a step-by-step format. This workshop is best suited to those who are comfortable experimenting and picking up techniques in a more intuitive, guided way. Some prior experience can be helpful, but support will be provided throughout.

As you work on your piece, you’ll build an understanding of key concepts such as composition, colour and the use of acrylic mediums in a practical, immersive setting.

Under the expert guidance of our tutor, you'll receive continuous support while developing your own unique canvas landscape painting.

Some of the following techniques may be explored in the workshop: locking-in, layering, wet-on-wet, dry brushing and glazing. All the necessary paints and brushes will be provided in class. Kindly review the material list below for any additional items to bring along.
