Watercolour Painting Workshop: Expressive Art

Learn how to paint with an impressionistic style, with our painting short courses in Sydney!
Join this workshop to learn how to paint quick, expressive watercolours with fewer brush strokes.
Through detailed artist demonstration of a four-step method, you'll discover how to create an atmosphere (rather than strictly copying the subject matter) by using a limited palette, simplifying shapes and avoiding too many details.
Working with large-size brushes - adding shape against shape, stroke by stroke and not going over the same area twice - you can capture a scene, leaving large areas of the paper untouched. This approach is fun, and engaging it helps bring paintings a genuinely fresh and spontaneous look.
Join this full-day workshop, with professional artist Tony Belobrajdic, to get inspiration and try new techniques in your painting. The class includes artist demonstrations, painting time, friendly discussion and feedback on your work.
