Learn stand-up comedy for beginners with our acting short courses in Sydney!
Unleash your inner comedian and learn how to create funny material that will have everyone laughing. Don't worry, anyone can be funny with a little know-how.
This course teaches you the basics of comedy writing, how to present jokes, and perform on stage. And guess what? You might even get a chance to show off your skills in front of a friendly audience at a real comedy venue!
Whether you are curious about comedy, want to feel more confident when speaking in public, or just want to have a lot of fun, our Stand-up Comedy for Beginners class is perfect for you. It's a great way to learn, grow, and enjoy yourself.

Note: The topics will be covered, but not necessarily in the order given. The curriculum may be adapted to suit the needs of the class.

What to bring to class
- A4 notebook
- Pen, pencil and eraser
- and last, but by no means least, a sense of humour
There will be an in-house performance in the last session for students who would like to exercise their new skills. This is completely optional.
