Watercolour Landscape Workshop: Intermediate Sydney Community College

Watercolour Landscape Workshop: Intermediate

WLWI_1

Intermediate watercolour landscape painting workshops in Sydney, designed for students with prior experience.

This intermediate watercolour landscape workshop is designed for students who already have a basic understanding of watercolour and are ready to develop their landscape painting further. It is ideal for those who have completed the Watercolour Landscape for Beginners workshop or have equivalent experience.

In this hands-on session, you will work more deeply with composition, detail, and atmosphere to create a complete landscape painting with a clear focal point. The workshop focuses on guiding the viewer’s eye, creating balance within the composition, and building depth through layered colour and controlled brushwork.

You will combine wet on wet, dry on wet, and wet on dry techniques to add contrast, richness, and structure to your painting. With guided instruction, you will refine your timing, water control, and mark making, building confidence as you bring your landscape scene together. This workshop also supports students preparing for more advanced or ongoing watercolour study.

By the end of this workshop, you should be able to:
