Watercolour Floral Workshop: Intermediate
Bring your floral watercolours to life – intermediate techniques to elevate your skills, part of the painting short courses in Sydney!
This intermediate floral watercolour workshop is designed for students who already have a basic understanding of watercolour and want to develop their botanical painting skills further. It is ideal for those who have completed the Watercolour Flowers for Beginners workshop or have equivalent experience.
In this hands-on session, you will focus on creating more refined and expressive floral compositions. The class explores layering, textural techniques, and colour relationships, helping you bring depth, structure, and life to your flowers. You will also learn to incorporate background elements, compositional balance, and atmosphere to elevate your work.
With guided instruction, you will refine brush control, improve timing and water management, and experiment with combining techniques such as wet-on-wet, glazing, and dry-brush. This workshop provides a supportive environment to grow confidence and prepare for more advanced or ongoing watercolour study.
