Sculptural Random Weaving Workshop

RDWS_1

Learn how to make striking natural artwork with our weaving short courses in Sydney.

Join sculptor and fibre artist Cherry Corr for a fun, hands-on class where you’ll learn to twist and shape your own random weave creations using natural and garden-foraged materials.

All materials for this class are sustainably collected from local plants, including palm inflorescence from the Bangalow Palm and Cocos Palm, along with other common garden waste. Using just a few simple tools, easy-to-learn techniques, and a touch of clever engineering, you’ll create sculptural, functional forms that celebrate the beauty of nature.

This relaxing and rewarding course is perfect for anyone wanting to reconnect with natural materials, explore a meditative handcraft, or learn a sustainable artform rooted in tradition.

Join us for a day of tactile creative play, and take home a unique woven vessel and artwork that holds space in your home.
