Course description

By understanding how your mind works and what the root cause of your procrastination may be, this course could help you to increase your productivity, achieve your goals, and change your life. 

The workshop will be based on adult-learning principles and will be interactive. A series of NLP techniques will be used. Where appropriate, participants will be taught NLP techniques for use at home.

The workshop will cover:

  • A brief explanation of what NLP is and how it works
  • What submodalities are and how to change them
  • The reasons for procrastination
  • Ensuring that our values support what we want to achieve
  • Strategies to use at home if procrastination recurs
  • Prioritising for maximum efficiency
  • Ensuring that our thoughts and emotions are in order to allow us to be in control of our choices
  • Setting goals for the future

NLP utilises participants beliefs, values and decisions, and so a fundamental part of the workshop will be discussing these things with participants. NLP techniques include things such as brief, guided visualisations, the use of storytelling (metaphor) and a range of other techniques.
