Ready to take the next step in your Japanese learning? This Level 2 course is designed for students who have completed our Japanese: Beginners Level 1 course or have equivalent experience.

In this course, you’ll build on your existing foundation and begin communicating with more confidence across a wider range of everyday situations. You’ll expand your vocabulary, develop more flexible sentence structures, and improve your ability to express ideas more clearly.

Classes are interactive and practical, with a strong focus on speaking and listening. You’ll practise real-life conversations, refine your pronunciation, and continue developing your understanding of Japanese communication styles and cultural context.

You’ll also deepen your knowledge of the Japanese writing system by continuing with Hiragana and beginning Katakana, helping you read and recognise more everyday language.
