• Understanding home loans - the requirements and how to get the best loan to suit your needs
• The deposit required for the purchase
• Complete costs of purchasing real estate including all the hidden extras
• Understanding how properties are valued and how the price is determined
• The buying process - private treaty, auction and buying 'off the plan'
• Negotiating with real estate agents and vendors and tips on getting the price you want
• Understanding the conveyancing process and the role of the solicitor
• Costly mistakes in buying real estate and what to look out for
• How to protect yourself in a rising or down market
• Your rights as the purchaser and how to protect yourself when making an offer or signing the contract for sale
• Discussion on the current market trend and outlook for the future
