Take the guesswork out of hanging items at home in this practical, hands-on DIY workshop. Designed for beginners, this short course will teach you how to safely and confidently hang common household items such as picture frames, mirrors and shelves, without damaging your walls or risking injury.

Over three hours, you will learn how to identify wall structures such as plasterboard (stud walls), masonry and timber, and understand how to select the right anchors and fixings based on weight and purpose. You will also be introduced to the tools and measuring techniques needed for accurate placement, along with practical tips to avoid common mistakes.

This workshop includes a strong focus on hands-on learning, allowing you to practise drilling, fixing and mounting under the guidance of an experienced instructor. You will also cover basic troubleshooting and simple wall repairs, giving you the confidence to handle a range of everyday DIY tasks.
