Course description

Improve your work skills by enrolling in our comprehensive business management courses in Sydney! 

This Accounting & Bookkeeping Course will take you through the process of completing your own set of books and generating several financial reports, as well as finalising your own BAS.

This short course includes a business case study, which will provide you with hands-on practical experience to finalise a set of books and all necessary reports. You will also prepare a Business Activity Statement (BAS) in a relaxed and stress-free environment. As part of this Accounting & Bookkeeping course, you will learn the skills needed to understand the fundamentals of BAS accounting. With the goal that you will be able to differentiate between the different types of assets, liabilities, and equity, you will learn how to complete a Business Income and Expenses Cashbook, reconcile Bank accounts as well as Accounts Payable and Receivable, report fixed assets and calculate depreciation, pass journals and post ledgers, generate financial reports, complete a BAS worksheet and finalise a BAS.

This Accounting & Bookkeeping Course will help you to understand computerised accounting, although this is not covered in the class.

You may also like to try  MYOB AccountRight Course for Beginners after completing this course. Although it's not essential, many students have found it to be beneficial. 

Please note that completing this Accounting & Bookkeeping course will not provide you with the accreditation to become a BAS Agent.
