Who is this Spanish: Beginners Level 2 course for?
This course is ideal for students who have completed our Spanish: Beginners Level 1 course or have an equivalent level of Spanish (approximately 20–30 hours of prior learning).
It's suited to learners who want to build confidence using Spanish in everyday conversations while developing stronger grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills for travel, work, or personal enjoyment.

Textbook & Resources
Students may use any edition of Aula Internacional 1, including Aula Internacional 1, Aula Internacional 1 Plus, or Aula Internacional 1 Plus Hybrid. The core content is the same across all editions, although the layout and page numbers may vary.
Purchasing the textbook is optional. It provides a useful companion to the course, allowing you to review class content, complete additional practice activities, and continue your learning between lessons. Your tutor will also provide supporting learning materials throughout the course, so students without the textbook will still be able to participate fully in class.
Students who choose to purchase a textbook may select whichever edition of Aula Internacional 1 is most readily available and affordable. Your tutor will explain any differences in page numbering during class.
We recommend waiting until your course has been confirmed (usually within three working days of the proposed start date) before purchasing a textbook. The textbook is not included in the enrolment fee.
Achievement Recognition
Students who attend at least 80% of the course will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Sydney Community College.
