Alicia Gonzalez is a Sydney-based performer, director, and facilitator specialising in contemporary clowning, physical theatre, and movement-based performance. She trained at the internationally renowned L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq in Paris, one of the world's leading schools for physical theatre.
Drawing on experience across theatre, education, and community settings, Alicia has worked with a diverse range of participants, including as a medical clown in hospitals. This work has shaped her ability to create welcoming, supportive environments where people feel comfortable exploring creativity, play, spontaneity, and genuine human connection.
Alicia designs and facilitates workshops for performers, educators, organisations, and the wider community. Her teaching is practical, engaging, and highly interactive, encouraging participants to step beyond self-consciousness, embrace curiosity, and develop confidence through movement, improvisation, and play.
At Sydney Community College, Alicia helps adult learners build creative confidence, strengthen communication skills, and discover the freedom that comes from being fully present in the moment.
