Thad first discovered his love of teaching over 30 years ago while assisting a class in his first Chinese martial arts style, Southern Shaolin Kung Fu. In 2010, he began focusing on training in the internal arts of Qi Gong and Ba Gua Zhang, and began teaching both of these methods in 2013. 

Thad has a passion for training and sharing the unique of practices of Qi Gong and the internal arts, and finds great joy in witnessing the positive impact these practices have in the lives of his students. He is particularly skilled at providing practical corrections and offering clear explanations of the subtle principles that underpin the internal arts. 

Since arriving in Sydney in late 2022, Thad has continued to enrich the community by treating patients with classical Chinese Tui Na massage, while also training students in Qi Gong and the internal martial arts. His dedication to these transformative practices is evident in every class.
