Learn to perform with our beginner-friendly Acting short course program the perfect first step in your acting journey in Sydney.
Act I is all about taking the leap into performance. In a supportive and encouraging environment, you’ll break through fear and self-doubt, build trust with your fellow students, and explore your creativity through improvisation, group games, and scene work.
You’ll discover how to connect with your scene partner, develop your voice and movement skills, and understand the fundamentals of character building. As the course progresses, you’ll work on a scripted scene, using acting techniques to bring your role to life.
In the final week, you’ll perform your scene with a partner for an invited audience of family, friends, and fellow students a celebration of your growth and courage on stage.
